N Prasanth is a civil servant and member of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).

He serves in Thiruvananthapuram as Special Secretary (Scheduled Caste Development, Scheduled Tribes Development, Backward Classes Development).

Born in Thalassery in Kannur District, Prasanth grew up in Thiruvananthapuram. He graduated in Law from the University of Kerala.

In 2007, he was selected to the IAS (4th rank all-India) and borne on the Kerala cadre.

Prasanth writes in Malayalam and English with equal ease, and his articles have been published in Malayala Manorama, Mathrubhumi, Kerala Kaumudi, Kala Kaumudi, Malayalam Vaarika, and Moneycontrol (Read them in the writing section of this website.)
